Sharing the Knowledge-Come To Kona BarCamp

Kona Small Biz Tech BarCamp-2

On Wednesday, May 29th, from 9 am- 1 pm, my web partner, Scott Schang and I will moderate an exciting “unconference” called a BarCamp to help business owners in West Hawaii learn and share about all things digital marketing. From YouTube to Facebook Business Manager to Instagram Stories to mobile apps to make your life easier, it’s all going to be discussed! The cool thing is that if you want to learn about it, we will talk about it AND you will get the insight from your fellow business owners, too!

Cost is $45 and gives you four hours of learning, networking, and taking away enough knowledge that you can immediately start to use it to grow/expand/publicize your business.

What is a BarCamp?

BarCamps are historically a place where the attendees set the agenda AND can participate as moderators and as a source of information for others. It is a PARTICIPATORY event. We will be doing a hybrid of starting the conversation with information about trends and “Information About Digital Marketing You Will Find Valuable” and then leading open conversation. We will have two break out opportunties for people who are interested in learning more about a certain subject, such as video for biz, Facetime Live, Instagram, driving engagement on social, Google Analytics, SEO, productivity apps, etc and people can hui up around a table to discuss and learn more.

Coffee and snacks will be provided wtih the ticket price along with water.

A BarCamp is a place to share best practices and knowledge TOGETHER. Come ready to share AND learn AND NOT have someone yakking at you from the stage. Sure, you’ll get top notch tech info, but you will also learn from other local business owners’ struggles and triumphs. Kona’s first Un-Conference. Come join us.
