Are you ready to travel to one of the neighboring islands? Have you received your vaccination yet?

Starting May 11, fully vaccinated passengers will be able travel inter-island without having to quarantine and or under go COVID-19 testing.

Gov. David Ige made the announcement at a news conference Tuesday, April 20.

“The program is seen as a step toward allowing fully vaccinated trans-Pacific passengers to come into the state without being subject to quarantine or being required to take a test” as reported by Hawaii News Now.  Ige said he hoped that could happen later this summer.
