The "Called to the Island" Club

TheCalled

TheCalledI recently posted on my Facebook page that I keep hearing people who have moved to Hawaii say they were called to be here. I just was asked to accept a friend request this morning from a lovely lady who read my “Why the Big island is a Terrible Place to Live” post and she felt we were kindred spirits from what I wrote about the spirit and lifestyle in Kona.
I mentioned organizing a BBQ for new residents and people who are called to be here.

If you wait 45 seconds, there is an email newsletter sign up form- get in on the fun and you will get notices of cool events that bring together kindred spirits, form a community and provide people a chance to connect with one another. You could say that I was called into this position to create a “circle of the called”.

You can also go to the FB page and let me know you are interested and I will reach out to you.
I have two awesome guys who are “da kine BBQ experts” willing and able to help us get this kicked off with a beach BBQ. Get on the list and let’s make it happen!

Spread the word if you love what you heard! #365kona so we can say Thanks!

    • Pam-Check out the “Arts and Entertainment Big Island” on Facebook. My friends just started that as a way to keep people up on what is happening in the arts scene on the island, too!

    Hi Julie,
Your writing, videos and heart have been such an encouragement! We are in the process of selling the house and the minute it does, we are there! We are so excited! I think our “called” story has it’s own interesting details. We probably won’t make it until this summer, but I would love to be on your list. Mahalo nui loa ~ Pam
